Firstly, cleansing your skin is a must.  This should be done every morning and before bedtime.  Since, in our day-to-day life our skin is exposed to pollutions, sunrays, cigarette smoking etc., which cause damage to our skin so they must be washed away thoroughly.  A good facial cleanser is what you need.  Men tend to have varieties of skin types than women’s, so find a cleanser that targets normal to oily skin for the best results.  Remember, if you don’t cleanse your skin on a daily basis; the excess debris and oil could leave you with clogged pores and simultaneously acne breakouts.

The next step for you is exfoliation.  Exfoliation is the process of removing dead skin cells from the surface to reveal the new skin cells beneath.  Different types of scrubs are available in the market; it can be either body scrub or face scrub that helps to remove the dead cells.  Exfoliation can also help clean out the yucky stuff that can get lodged in your pores.  Choose an exfoliate that contains scrubby particles to help smoothen the skin and eliminate dullness.

Moisturizer is the important step. In fact, men skin need even more moisturizer than women do because as men frequently shave their faces, which not only removes your hair but also necessary oils from your skin.  Most often after shaving, you probably use alcohol-based aftershave lotion that dehydrates the skin.  A moisturizer will help to replenish your skin’s moisture content and will help prevent razor burn.
