Often guys tell me that they are comfortable in the clothes they wear, even though it doesn’t look good on them.  Most of them don’t see the benefit in dressing up and so they just wear randomly.  Most men do not realize that they could probably attract more attention from potential partners, earn more money and be taken more seriously if they don one’s clothes well.  Dressing is a process and takes some time, but at the end of the day, it is always worth it.  I did not care what I was wearing until the age of 16, then I started to develop an interest in style but it was not an overnight success.  Especially in the beginning, I had to try out something before I found the style I really liked.  Over the years, I have noticed a number of changes that happened after I began dressing well and improved my style.  In this article, I would like to highlight 20 things that will likely change other’s perceptions.

So here are 20 things that will happen to you when you start dressing well and the response will be overwhelming.

  1. Obviously women are going to check you out
  2. I don’t know if it is good or bad but yes men also do check you out
  3. Strangers ask you for directions because you look trustworthy
  4. Friends start asking you for style advice
  5. You will be in the talk of everyone
  6. Your boss lets you slide on that deadline
  7. You get the job (even though it wasn’t your best interview)
  8. People inherently trust you
  9. Some people dislike you
  10. People laugh at your jokes (even when they’re not very funny)
  11. Your friends want to take selfies with you
  12. Your friends might start copying your style
  13. You sometimes feel silly when experimenting with new looks
  14. You try hard not to judge people for making those mistakes
  15. You give and receive that small nod of approval to other well-dressed men
  16. People smile at you more
  17. You detest clothes that don’t fit
  18. All of a sudden, half of your wardrobe doesn’t fit
  19. You see collar gap all the time, everywhere (especially on celebrities)
  20. You have mornings where you effortlessly just nail your outfit
